Estate Litigation
We are experienced i assisting executors of estates that must respond to a claim against the validity of a will or for a further claim of family provision of the estate. Where a party feels aggrieved after being excluded or left a smaller share of an estate, we can assist to manage the court proceedings or mediation of the matter.
Our aim is to resolve such matters quickly and with a keen eye on the costs, to ensure a solution that all parties can accept. Often Powers of Attorney or Gifts prior to death may need to be reviewed and we are able to assist clients in that process. Applications to the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal can be made where appropriate to ensure equity.
